As I lived in Rodrigues for quite a long time I can let you have reliable information.First you must apply for a 6 months' Tourist Visa.In Rodrigues you can rent a house or live in a boarding house.Unfortunately you won't be able to work without a Mauritian citizenship which is very difficult to get unless you marry a Mauritian girl there!
